Solo Leveling episode 10 recap

In the previous episode, Joohee and Sung take a walk in the park after their mission. Joohee informs Sung that she intends to retire as she fears the life of a hunter. She offers him an essence stone before she departs.

The show then cuts to a flashback where Woo fills Sung in on Hwang, who is an S-rank hunter, and how he may be targeting Sung after his brother's death. Woo also tells Sung that S-rank hunters are far too powerful for the law to step in. He advised Sung to leave for a while.

In the present, Sung remains focused on becoming stronger and he starts his raids with Yoo and the strike team. Yoo enlists an underwhelming crew to act as their strike team while he and Sung complete the missions.

Sung and Yoo raid the dungeons alone, and they compensate the rest of the team waiting outside. Sung uses the Stealth Stone he obtained from defeating Kang, and he gains the stealth skill. The other hunters are skeptical of two hunters entering a C-rank dungeon, but Sung is able to fight with ease while Yoo harvests the resources.

One of the members on the team is revealed to be Song-Yi, who is a classmate of Sung's sister. After the mission, Sung's player system informs him that he has a job-change quest. Sung and Yoo continue to complete raids on their dungeons, and they catch interest from a hunter association manager, Ahn.

The manager learns that Yoo has bought up C-rank dungeons to complete, and he begins to understand that Sung is running the show and his abilities are not that of a D-rank hunter. He speculates that Sung has had an awakening and visits the strike team as they were taking on another mission.

After Sung and Yoo completed the dungeon, Ahn and Kichul approached Sung and began their recruitment. Ahn is a team manager for the White Tiger Guild, and he extends an offer toward Sung. Sung declines and showcases his powers to make sure Ahn keeps quiet about his abilities. Ahn promises to keep it a secret and Sung offers Ahn some C-rank gates as they have become scarce. Ahn agrees to buy three at an inflated price. Later, he learns Sung scammed him.

Ahn is bitter but ambitious about his relationship with Sung going forward, and Sung seeks to learn more about his job-change quest at the end of the episode.
