Solo Leveling episode 11 recap

In the previous episode, Sung sets forth on his job change quest and he chooses an open area to start the mission. When he accepts the quest, Sung enters a purple portal to begin his next challenge.

The episode then cuts to Yoo with his father at dinner as they await for the arrival of his brother. His brother informs his father of his recruiting efforts for the guild, and he warns Yoo about his plans with Sung. As Sung enters the dungeon, he is informed that he won't be able to use potions or recovery for the remainder of the quest. He has to complete the dungeon to escape, and he then encounters the enemies of the dungeon.

Knights come forward to Sung, and he has a hard time getting through the armor with his dagger. He is confronted by archers and mages, and he opts to use his fatal strike and stealth skills. Sung begins to realize that the enemies have skills that he saw from previous battles and also experiences fatigue setting in.

The episode transitions to Guildmaster Choi as it is revealed that he has received approval to conquer Jeju island. Sung enters the next room in the dungeon, and he encounters a red knight by the name of Igris: the Bloodred. His name is in red, and it is by far the strongest adversary Sung has stumbled upon and the two clash immediately.

Sung feels a familiar sensation with this mission and his time at the double dungeon. Igris easily overwhelms Sung with his immense power and speed. Sung has to fight with hand-to-hand combat and Igris obliges by discarding his weapons.

Sung opts to increase his speed in order to counter Igris' power, but it does not work as Igris swiftly overpowers him with a flurry of combinations. Sung is hurled towards the throne and Igris walks towards him to deliver a final blow. As Igris swings his sword down, Sung grabs the sword with his invisible armor and summons his blade to stab Igris in the eyes. This stuns the knights enough for Sung to push him towards the wall and repeatedly stab him with the dagger. Sung delivers a fatal blow with all his might at the knight ,and he finally defeats his foe.

Sung learns from his player log that he received awards for defeating the knight and then he quickly learns that his quest is not yet completed. Many portals open up, and he has to survive the waves of knights heading towards him. He loses his teleportation stone in the middle of the fight and is stuck in the dungeon with a crowd of enemies around him at the end of the episode.
