The upcoming 2025 anime follows the lives of two students, Uka Ishimori and Kai Miura. Uka is a young girl who comes off as very shy and reserved. So much so that her fellow students tend to not talk to her or invite her to do anything social. Fortunately for Uka, her classmate and polar opposite, Kai, takes her in as his underling, teaching her how to let go and have fun during her most youthful years. Together, the two learn different things from each other while letting their relationship blossom into something neither of them ever thought possible.

In middle school, Uka Ishimori was nicknamed “Stone.” In order to change herself, she enrolled in Hachimitsu High School, known for its culture of student liberty. Seated in at the desk next to her in the same class is Kai Miura, a coolly freewheeling boy with lemon-colored hair. In truth, Uka met Kai once in middle school, and decided to attend Hachimitsu based on a single word he said to her.To Uka, the popular Kai is a distant presence. Yet somehow, Kai starts to look after Uka. With Kai encouraging her, Uka gradually begins to fit in with her classmates…But...Uka’s world is gradually changing with Kai’s presence. — Now, I am in the center of the endlessly spreading light.

Honey Lemon Soda reveals stunning cast and crew

The cast of this 2025 anime features a plethora of voice actors that you have heard in many anime titles that you may have seen before. For example, Kana Ichinose, who voices Uka Ishimori in Honey Lemon Soda, has starred in popular titles such as Dr. Stone, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Carole & Tuesday.

In addition to Kana Ichinose, you would be pleased to learn that Yano Shougo voices the lead role of Kai Miura in Honey Lemon Soda. Yano Shougo is a talented voice actor who has lent his voice to titles including (but not limited to) Given and The Seven Deadly Sins.

Alongside Kana Ichinose and Yano Shougo, MyAnimeList reports that the cast of Honey Lemon Soda consists of:
